Barbara Edith Elam Stearns
October 16th, 1932 - November 23rd, 2023
Barbara Edith Elam Stearns was born on October 16, 1932 and passed away on November 23, 2023 while living with her grandson, Lance Fesler in Kuna. Barbara died of Atrial Fibrillation at age 91.
She was a spiritual person of faith, who loved God. A High School graduate shew was a good wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. An excellent housekeeper and cook for her family and she was a Scout Den Mother.
She went out into the business world and worked as a secretary, office manager and bookkeeper to twenty-one attorneys at law for McDevitt-Pursley-Webb and Buser, no small feat.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Walter Eland and mother, Edna Elam; husband Donald L. Stearns, Sr.; son Donald L. Stearns, Jr.; sister, Helen Green and great grandson, Wyatt Fesler.
Surviving family members are sister, Frances Elam, California; daughter, Denise Dockstader, Boise; grandsons, Lance Fesler, Kuna, Brian Stearns, New York. Granddaughters, Ryan Dzurko, Tennessee, Amber Newkirk, Meridian, and Sanai Felser Gainor, Spokane, WA.; niece Dini Jaskowski, Mexico; nephews, Robert Green, Kuna, Jerry and Jimmy Gaines, California.
A memorial service will be held graveside at Joplin Cemetery, 12412 W Chinden Blvd., Eagle, Idaho 83616 on July 31st, 2024 at 10 AM.
Her surviving family were especially grateful for the services given by Hospice.
