"Palmer - Barbara (Leighton) Lamb, 78, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2017 at her home. Born February 20, 1939 in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mildred (Moran) Leighton. Previously of Worcester, Barbara has lived most of her life in Palmer. In 1993, she retired from Goodwill Industries in Chicopee, where she was a clerk. As an avid Red Sox fan, Barbara never missed a game. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She will be missed by her children, Martin Lamb of Palmer and Ronald and his wife Debra Lamb, with whom she lived as well as grandchildren, Bobbie Ann and fiance Jason Lizak, Zackary, Matthew, Ronnie, Mindy Sue, Sierra Rose, Zachary, Crystal, Amber and husband Andrew, Ashley and fiance Mark, Karen A. Lashway and great grandchildren, Aidan, Francis, Caleb, Zachary, Camerin, Connor, James, Kain, and Damien. She also leaves her siblings, Florence Houston, Albert Vickers and Phillip Vickers. She was predeceased by her husband, Ira W. Lamb, son Malcom J. Toney, daughter Mildred Hurley and a sister Joan Mancini. Visitation is Friday May 19th from 11-1pm with a service to began at 1pm. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind. "
