Barbara J. Magnuson

Barbara J. Magnuson 76 of LaSalle, CO passed away April 28, 2018 at her home. Barbara was born April 12, 1942 to Herman and Frances Achziger at The Greeley Hospital. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1960. She married Herman Magnuson February 27th, 1960 in Greeley, they later divorced. She was a homemaker until her children were in school after which she worked for the RE1 school district for many years. She later worked for NuWay Cleaners. Barbara was an amazing cook and loved to feed the family, friends and neighbors. No one left the table hungry. She was an avid gardener with her companion Ken Carlson and also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Barbara is survived by her children Kim (Richard) Higuera, Butch (Jayne) Magnuson. Grandchildren Kirk (Dany) Cosson, Jarrod Magnuson, Ryan (Katie) Magnuson and great grandsons Kacey and soon to arrive Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carolyn Huskey, brother Dick Achziger and companion Ken Carlson. A Life Celebration Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday May 4, 2018 at Adamson Chapel with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment is at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
