arbara Ann Marshall was born June 11th, 1949 in Portland, OR. She was the second child born to Norman and Jeanne Lawrie. Barbara was a mother to 3 daughters: Kimberly Marshall, Kelli Marshall, and Laura Unverrich; had 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren with another great grandson on the way. Barbara spent almost 45 years in a domestic relationship with Fred Unverrich. Barbara worked as an Early Childhood Daycare Teacher much of her life. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and after her retirement she became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sandy, OR. where she resided. Barbara made many friends at her Church and enjoyed her faith. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she loved her dogs, she was a proud doll collector, she liked shopping, getting her nails done, she loved the color purple, and loved lilacs and lavender. She was a simple woman and was content for the most part just watching some of her favorite TV shows or listening to music. We can go on and on about what an amazing, strong, loving and beautiful woman she was. We lost an important member of our family and love her so much. She will be missed by all who knew her.

At Wilhelm's Portland Memorial, we have a rich history dating back to 1901 when we became the first crematory west of the Mississippi River, known then as The Portland Cremation Association. Our historic chapel, marked by its cornerstone placed on February 5th, 1901, has stood the test of time. Today, our memorial site spans 8 stories, approximately 7 miles of corridors of beautifully preserved architecture, and the largest mausoleum on the west coast, spanning 2.5 city blocks....
