Barbara Jean Stephens Mathias went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2012. She was born on February 8, 1935 in Westminster, SC to Edwin W. and Mescal M. Wilson. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Ruth Attarie, parents and her first husband William T. Stephens. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Mathias, her children Teresa Hawkins (Rick), Donna Daniel and Tom Stephens (Sunanda), five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will attend a private burial service. A celebration of Barbara?s life will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 3 P.M. in Praise Church Pond Branch Highway Leesville, SC 29070. Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodridge Funeral Home Lexington, SC.
