Barbara Jo Williams
March 15th, 1946 - November 29th, 2023
Barbara Jo Williams, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with Jesus on November 29, 2023, at the age of 77 in Peoria, AZ. She was born on March 15, 1946, in Lincoln, NE. Barbara Jo was a beloved Prayer Warrior and dedicated her life to Jesus. She shared her faith with all who crossed her path. Her greatest desire was for her family and friends to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. She also had a passion for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Chiefs. She loved spending quality time with her family. Barbara was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse, using her skills to care for others. Barbara's life was filled with love and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, John B. and Edna Williams, her mother, and step-father, Clara and Everett Brauckmuller, and her brother, Johnny Williams. She will be deeply missed by her children, Jill & Ryan Knapp, Lisa Hope Phillips, Tricia Phillips, and Michael & Lisa Rae Phillips. She was a cherished grandmother to Kameron, Tory, Korbin, Michael, Janay & Tim, Kaylin, Taylor, Eric, Carrie, and Zachary. She was a loving great-grandmother and best friend to Jovie, Cash, Nevaeh, Jalaya, Timothy Jr., and Ashanti. She was a devoted sibling to David & Gayle and Joni Williams. She also shared a special bond with Michael Phillips and his wife Shane. She will also be missed by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held in her honor in Glendale, Arizona at Pure Heart Church on Saturday, January 6th, 2024. The celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Youth Auditorium (Building 500). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity in her memory. She supported Pure Heart Church and the following Christian Radio Ministries: K-Love Radio, Family Life Radio, and Air1 Radio. Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering faith, kind heart, and selfless nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
