BARBARA J. ZUEHLKE, age 69 of Jefferson passed away Monday February 20, 2023 at Alden Estates in Jefferson. Barbara was born on March 28, 1953, to Allen and Lenore (Frames) Krueger. She married Alan Zuehlke on August 9, 1976. Barbara was a teacher for middle school and high school students with special needs in the Pewaukee school district. She enjoyed quilting and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her family, husband Alan Zuehlke of Jefferson, sons Drew (Kelly) Zuehlke of MN, and Chad (Emma) Zuehlke of Waukesha. Grandchildren, Zoe and Zaryah Zuehlke and Brooks Zuehlke. Siblings, Karen (Lewis) Schultz, Mark (Denise) Krueger, Jerry (Linda) Krueger. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday February 25, 2023 at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00-11:00. There will be a reception following the services. The family encourages donations to Special Olympics in Barbara’s memory, or live plants would be appreciated.
