Barry Smith of Thornton, Colorado passed away on October 31st, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betsy (Mary Elizabeth Young), brother Stephen (Marsha) Smith of Lakewood, son Lindsay Smith of Denver, daughter Rebecca Prouty of Westminster, and grandsons Jorge, Davison and Jhaison Prouty. He was generous to a fault, always quick with a smile and joke, and never encountered a problem he couldn’t solve. Musician, entrepreneur, historian, educator, Cub fan and all around great guy-he will be missed. In lieu of flowers please donate to Wheat Ridge Presbyterian Church.
