Barry M. Geffon

On May 5, 2023, Barry Geffon passed away at the young age of 62 after a 2-year battle with cancer. Barry was born on August 10, 1960, to Stanley and Shirley Geffon and grew up in St. Petersburg, Fl. Barry enjoyed joking with people and would often say he never met a stranger. He could engage in conversation with anyone even if he didn’t know them personally. Barry had many friends and made an impact on everyone he would meet. Barry grew up around the water and he loved to go boating or be involved in any water activities. He loved his boats and raced boats at one time in his life. Later in life, Barry enjoyed traveling on cruises a couple of times a year. The water to him was peaceful and serene. He also liked to sit by his pool and just listen to the birds or other animals that may be nearby. Barry is survived by his wife Lorri, 2 sons, Sam and Ryan (Katie), brothers Fred and Randy, grandchildren Gracie, Cade and Kallie. Barry loved his family and extended family. He always made sure they had everything they needed. He was a very giving man. Barry is now at peace and though we will miss him, we are comforted in knowing that he will no longer be suffering. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road in Largo.
