Beatrice L Collier, died January 14th 2024. A memorial service was held at Rose Chapel, Legacy Funeral Home on January 25th 2024. Beatrice was born on March 13th 1935 in Oxford, England to Albert and Winnifred Martin. Beatrice grew up in the war years and later worked for her local church, sewing/repairing tapestries. She met her late husband at the co-op supermarket, where she worked as an accountant. They married in August 1966 and live together in Oxford until his death in 1998. Her interests included, sewing, tapestry, lace making, cross-stitch, embroider and crossword puzzles, to name but a few. Beatrice is preceeded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents Albert and Winnifred; her brother, Fred and step-son David. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis; daughter Caroline; son-in-law James; step-daughter-in-law Lisa; grandsons and granddaughters. Beatrice will be laid to rest with her husband, Albert, in Wolvercote cementary in Oxford, England. Donations can be made to animal charities in her name.
