Beatrice "Bea" Laura Meske
June 5th, 1925 - October 23rd, 2017
BEATRICE L. MESKE age 92 of Jefferson passed away at Alden Estates of Jefferson October 23, 2017. Daughter of the late Carl and Gladys Dorn, she was born on June 5, 1925 at the family home in Helenville. She married Harold Meske on May 31, 1947 he preceded her in death in August of 2001. They were married at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Helenville. Harold and Bea were members of St. John's Lutheran church in Jefferson. Bea loved Gemuetlichkeit and polka music. She was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers. She is survived by her Daughter Barbara (William) Hesse of Jefferson, two grandsons Rev. Tony (Krista) McKenzie of Neenah, Tom (Julie) Hesse of Jefferson. Two granddaughters Wendy (Daniel) Bolger of Fort Atkinson, and Rachel (Paul) Schultz of Jefferson. Eight great-grandsons Jordan and Justus McKenzie, Ryan and Noah Schultz, Benjamin and Dylan Hesse, Zachary and Hunter Bolger. Two great-granddaughters Anna Wallander, and Allie Hesse. One brother Harlan (Donna) Dorn of Jefferson, One son-in-law Gilbert (Kathy) McKenzie. Two sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Special niece Diane Reichert for watching over her daily. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Gladys Dorn, her husband Harold Meske, one daughter Shirley McKenzie, brother Lloyd Dorn and two infant sisters, Lorraine and Bernice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 30, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Joshua Martin officiating, burial will be in the Christburg Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The family would appreciate donations in Bea's name to be given to St. John's Lutheran Church.
