Beatrice "Batya" Lila Robbins

We lost our beloved mother, Beatrice Robbins, on February 6, 2017 at the tender age of 87. She's survived by her three children, Mark Robbins and his wife Valerie, Terri Robbins Kane and her husband Steve and Arnold Robbins. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Marissa and Andrea Robbins and her sister, Gloria Glattstein and her family. The Robbins family is especially grateful for our mother's trusted aid, Ronald Lesnick, who took exceptional care of her. Beatrice raised her children in New York and Puerto Rico where she moved to with her then husband, Samuel Robbins, since deceased. She enjoyed a career in the vacation rental business as well as traveling throughout the Caribbean selling artwork, jewelry and camera equipment. Beatrice pursued a career in the jewelry business in St.Thomas, Virgin Islands, working for the world renowned jewelers, H. Stern and Little Switzerland for twenty years. Beatrice moved to Las Vegas to continue her jewelry sales career and eventually retired here. Beatrice was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. She will be dearly missed. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Fernwood Cemetery, 301 Tennessee Valley Road, Mill Valley CA.
