August 13th, 1928 - January 14th, 2016
Beatrice Sears, 87, of North Port passed away January 14, 2016 with her loving family at her side. Beatrice was very independent, but she loved spending time with her large family, whom she loved dearly. She attended San Pedro Parish and the North Port Senior Center, she enjoyed traveling, and she loved her Snickers and Carabba's. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceded in death in 1982 by George, her beloved husband of 35 years, Beatrice is survived by her loving children Thomas (Helen) of Sarasota, Jeanne (Joseph) Sousa of North Port, & Janet (David) Meaney of North Port, precious grandchildren Lisa, Joey (Doris), Michelle, Tommy, Nicole (Eric), Jay (Michelle), Jonathan (Kristen), Jillian (Jeff), & Connor, cherished great grandchildren Chelsea, Ian, Ashleigh, Jake, Tyler, Joey, Makayla, Lila, & Haydn, and beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Sarasota Memorial Park following the Mass. Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel is caring for arrangements.
