Becky (Ohrt) Anderson, 82, of Yuba City passed away peacefully on November 20, 2021. Born in Sacramento, CA, on November 1, 1939, to John F. Ohrt, Sr. and Irva (Mattson) Ohrt she was a lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident. A graduate of Yuba City High School she attended University of the Pacific (UOP) and University of Nevada, Reno. She studied nursing and was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was an acting partner in Hi & Dry Warehouse in Sutter, CA, and a member of Mercy Guild, Sutter Buttes Garden Club, San Francisco Symphony and The Best of Broadway. An avid traveler she visited many countries throughout the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, John F., Sr. and Irva Ohrt; sister, Nancy Ohrt Jaeger; and brother, John F. Ohrt, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Samuel B. Anderson; her children, Deborah (Eric) Goto, Bard (Wendy) Anderson, Meg (John) Kesich, and special friend, Andrew Borcher; siblings, Hienie (Jody) Ohrt and James (Cheryl) Ohrt; grandchildren, Max Flye, Camille Flye, Maddie Anderson, Katie Anderson, Samantha Anderson, Sam Kesich, Caroline Kesich, George Goto, Jake Harvey, Nicholas Harvey; and many nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA. Private graveside service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in honor of Becky Anderson.
