Belinda H Shaw, 65 Belinda H Shaw, 65, of Harleyville, SC, loving wife of Corey Shaw, entered into eternal peace on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Medical University of South Carolina. Belinda was born on October 6, 1955, in Charleston, SC. She was the devoted daughter of the late Daisy Smith Proctor and John M Smith. Belinda and her loving husband were married for over 35 years. Corey was the primary caregiver for Belinda for a number of years and doted over her every need. Belinda was predeceased by her mother and father and a brother, John M Smith Jr. Survivors include: husband Corey Shaw of Harleyville, SC, Sons: Jimmy Peterson (Amber) of Monks Corner, SC, Travis Hanson of Ridgeville, SC , Corey Shaw III (Miranda Gaddy - Fiancée) of Harleyville, SC, 3 Grand-children: Logan Peterson, Skye Peterson and Tessa Peterson. Also, two siblings, a brother Billy J. Smith (Jackie) of North Charleston, SC; and a sister; Diane Appling (Stan) of Buford, Ga. Lastly, a Great Aunt, Henrietta Wyndham of Jacksonville, Fl. Belinda was a high-spirited “people person” who was loved by all. She worked hard, played hard and was always ready for the next adventure. She worked as a hair stylist for a number of years and developed a knack for making folks feel comfortable. She never met a stranger. You always knew where you stood with Belinda. She did not mince her words and was tough when she needed to be – She was true to herself and had a heart of gold. Like her Mother - Belinda did it her way. Moreover, she loved her family. Her husband, three boys and her Grand Children were the focus and light of her life. Belinda especially enjoyed holidays because she could be with and enjoy her family.
