July 13th, 1926 - February 4th, 2016
Bences Baca, age 89, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on February 4, 2016 at his residence in Albuquerque, NM with his loving family at his side. Bences retired as a Track Laborer with the Santa Fe Railroad and truly enjoyed his trips to the casino. Bences is preceded in death by his wife, Nestorita Baca; son, Ernesto Baca; daughters, Clara Burciaga and Sylvia Sedillo; grandson, Michael Carrillo. Bences is survived by his daughters, Sandra Aguirre (Gustavo), Viola Carrillo (Frank), and Mercy Carillo (Santos); 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Drive SW with Father Patrick Schafer officiating. Interment will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery, 2814 Los Padillas Road SW. Reception will follow burial at the family home, 6981 Isleta Blvd. SW. Pallbearers are: Nestor, Gustavo, Kiki, Nichole, Cynthia, and Richie. Arrangements entrusted to: RIVERSIDE FUNERAL HOME OF ALBUQUERQUE 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE (505) 764-9663
