Mr. Benjamin "Benny" Jackson Arnett, age 70 a lifetime resident of Polk County passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at his home. Mr. Arnett was born January 4, 1945 in Lakeland to Andrew Jackson and Margie Lavada (King) Arnett. Benny was a Rehabilitation Specialist at Winter Haven Hospital for the past 40 plus years. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church of Auburndale, member of the Auburndale Masonic Lodge and an Auburndale High School Graduate Class of 1965. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles. Benny is survived by; Sister: Kay Hartzog of Auburndale Aunt: Georgia King of Jensen Beach 3 First Cousins: Fay (Lee) Leatherwood of Auburndale Kenneth King of Lake Wales Wanda Chinners of Plant City Many, many 2nd cousins In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Benny Arnett's name to either; Central Assembly of God (Journey to Recovery Group), 601 Lemon St., Auburndale, FL. 33823 OR the American Cancer Society, 1920 S. Florida Ave., Lakeland, FL. 33803.
