Benjamin Michael Morse

November 3rd, 1989 - April 5th, 2013

Benjamin Michael Morse, 23, of Melba, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at a Boise hospital from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. A graveside service will be at 2:00PM on Friday, April 12, at the Melba Cemetery, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. The family requests casual dress as Ben was a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops kind of guy. Ben was born November 3, 1989 at Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, a son of Kevin and Robin Buckles Morse. While his father was serving in the military he lived in various states. He moved to Melba with his family in 2011. Ben was a “hugger,” and enjoyed music, writing and all kinds of games. In high school he played the trumpet and was in the marching band at North Pulaski High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas and also at Mascoutah High School in Mascoutah, Illinois where he graduated in 2008. He is survived by his parents, 3 brothers, Jon, Brett, Jacob, a little sister Bethany, grandparents Frank and Peggy Morse, and Jean Buckles, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ben’s online guestbook is available at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com Service Information

I am so saddened along with all of you, my prayers for you this difficult time. Ben and I have been acquainted because of Frank and Peggy, of course. The last he and I talked was over a year ago when he happily and willingly hefted some of my things while I was moving. He made me laugh when he told me about the fun he had when he was very young and I taught him "hide the thimble".

Kevin, Robin, and Family, I am so very sorry...I know the pain you feel cannot be put into words. I pray that you feel God's comfort, strength, love, and peace as only He can give, as you lean on Him. Love and Prayers, Raenett (Ehrlich) Kihlthau "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit!" Psalm 34:18 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3 "...The Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon them in their sorrow." Isaiah 49:13 TLB "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:23-23 " And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4

My sincere condolences to Kevin, Robin, and family during this time of sorrow, may you draw consolation and strength from the Holy Scriptures. At John chapter 5 verses 28 & 29 we are promised that there will be a resurrection back to life in the future. until this promise is fulfilled may the God of all comfort help you to cope.

Kevin & Robin, I am so very sorry for what has happened to your wonderful family. I realize noone can understand your hurt and feelings of loss. I do however believe that life, no matter how brief, forever changes the world. Ben's footprint on this world can never be erased and he will live on in your memories and in the memories of those who have had the priviledge of knowning him. I love you both very much!

I knew Ben from an online forum. Just today, some other forums acquaintances and I were wondering what happened to him, and after some searching, I found this page. This is such terribly sad news... He was a very kind person, and had a wonderfully vivid imagination. We are very very sorry to make this discovery, especially so long after it happened. He will be missed, and our thoughts are with his family.
