Benjamin "Ben" Charles Shaw
March 30th, 1987 - June 28th, 2008
Ben was born on March 30, 1987 in Tacoma, WA and took his life on June 28, 2008 in Roy, WA. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Ben was a graduate of E.B. Walker High School in 2006, and also attended Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, WA. He served in the Navy, primarily stationed at NAS Whidbey Island. Since his discharge from the military Ben had been a great help at home, and a much needed presence in all of our lives. He will be desperately missed by all. In lieu of flowers, cards, etc., the family requests donations to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.afsp.org. A private gathering will be held for immediate family and friends.
