Bennie Lance III, (74) of Tampa, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. Bennie honorably served in the US Navy and the Vietnam War (1967/68). He enjoyed fast cars, collecting a variety of things including coins, watches, clocks, knives, guns, and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Bennie loved University of Florida Gators football, and his close friends and family. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Bennie Lance IV and Katheryn Lance of Tampa, FL, his daughter: Neva Dawn Gross of Danville, VT, his step-daughters: Patricia Moreno and Lori Parsell, his grand-children: Christian Oliver, Benjamin Lance, Shawn Freeland, and Kyle Freeland. Bennie was preceded in death by his parents: Bennie Lance Jr. and Edna Ollie Lance, his ex-wife: Norma Lance. The family would like to give a special thank you to his long-time friend, Dennis Davis. Thank you for your friendship and support of our father. A memorial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a date to be determined.
