Benny Aguon Naputi

Benny Aguon Naputi “Familian Mahetok”, 60 of Lutz, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was born on Guam and moved to Florida in 2001. Benny was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and a truck driver for C&S Wholesale Distributors. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and especially being with his family. Benny was predeceased by his parents, Juan and Vicenta Aguon Naputi, and step mother Carmen S.N. Naputi, He is also predeceased by his parents in law, Joaquin and Florencia Peredo. His siblings, Matilde Pablo and Albert Naputi; in-laws, Frank Nauta, Vicente Pablo, David Aflague, Annie S. Naputi, Charlie Quintanilla. Benny is survived by his loving wife of over 38 years, Mathilda “Til” Naputi; children, Vince and Vanessa (Sablan) Naputi, Venise N. and David Astorga; and Chas Naputi. Grandchildren: Talia Astorga, Matthew Naputi, Danlynn Astorga, Zane Naputi and Royce Benning Astorga. He is survived by his siblings and in-laws, Lulita and Balbino Gumataotao, Joaquin and Annie Naputi, Joseph Naputi, Juanita Aflague and Rick Salas, and Rose and Joe Mesa, Tony and Donna Peredo, Lydia and Dave Cruz, Julie and Willie DeJesus, Patty Naputi and Tony Guerrero, Luisa and Richard Taitague, Joe and Deanna Peredo, Lolita Peredo, and Pat Naputi. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30 from 9:30-10:15 am at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34639 with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church (please note venue change) 2348 Collier Parkway, Land O'Lakes, Florida 34639.
