McGuinness Funeral Homes - Woodbury

We have served the Woodbury community since 1951, when our founder, James A. McGuinness, opened our first funeral home. He knew the importance of families having a trustworthy, local funeral home to help them memorialize their lost loved ones and navigate grief. Our beautiful funeral home in Woodbury was originally built in the late 1700s, and has since been rebuilt to honor its original charm and comfortable, warm feel. Once you walk through our doors, you become family.

Stephanie Reed

It was such an honor to call Bernie my friend. Her love and dedication to her family and faith was, and continues to be, such an inspiration. She knew so little of me, yet welcomed me with open arms and generous heart. I truly feel blessed and profoundly humbled by her unwavering love for our Holy Father with whom she dwells. How lucky are we to be touch by a woman who in the face of incredible tragedy, held her children up, forged forward, and rose above her sadness, grabbed on to her faith with all her might, and taught her family that all things are possible through the mercies and salvation of our Lord and Savior. I will never forget my dear friend Bernie. I love you, Rest In Peace.
