Bernardita (Bee) Sarausad, age 73, passed away peacefully at UW hospital at 12:30 in the morning on May 25, 2020. She fought hard and long through cancer. She was born in the Philippines to Bienvienedo and Lourdes Frasco. She graduated from Mindanao State University in the Philippines with a Bachelor in Science and English. She then moved to Seattle, Washington with her three young kids and husband where she went to school to become a nurse. Bee had a passion to care for others specializing as a geriatric nurse. She became a pioneer in the adult family home industry, caring for her mother and other seniors in her home. She was adored and well respected in the industry. With over more than 30 years, she grew her business and lovingly cared and devoted her life for countless seniors, vulnerable adults, and the sick. She truly touched the lives of many with her work. She also extended her giving heart to help extended family in the Philippines. She found joy in giving and always acted selfless. Bee was a devoted wife and mother. And despite her hectic schedule, she always made time to host gatherings with her family. She loved hosting parties during the holidays. She especially loved to sing and dance. She is survived by her sibling here in Wa, Pureza (Eduardo) David, husband, Cesar; three children, Marie Hazel Florez, Cesar Jr, and Marie Cinderella (John) Laney; and 11 grandchildren: Ceasar, Ryan and Camile Florez, Caylie Jane Chloe Jiselle, Ciara Joy, Casandra Jade, Courtney Jessica, John Christopher II, Cecilia Janelle, Claire Julianne Laney.
