Art and I are so sorry about Berni's passing. We loved her so much and will miss her. I can still hear her laugh and remember the happy times we had in her and Morty's company. We are taking care of my stepmother, Margaret, or would be at the funeral to celebrate her life and see all of you dear people. Love, Sue Clamage (and Art Zweben)

Dear Mort, Such a sad time! I will always remember and cherish our wonderful walks, conversations, and meals, as the Las Vegas sun went down, on January Drive. And Berni -- a force of nature. Having to slow down -- a lot -- or leave me way behind, her size 4 dress at age 70, her on-point characterizations, and her warmth! All my love during this difficult time, Barbara

🕯️ I worked with Berni at BGE in 1979 when I started out in Customer Service. She was good friends with Shirley Meister. I had a lot of questions...about everything and they were very motherly and helpful and supportive. I was 21. Bernie gave me a box of toys which included a 45rpm record player. My son was 3 and loved it. Bernie was to the point, very open and honest and spoke often of her husband Mort, a pharmacist and her children particularly Alex. She loved her family, her heritage and life. She lifted weights and I had never heard of a woman lifting. She was full of knowledge and altho of a great humor, she was spot on of character and pulled no punches. My memories of her are fond. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
