Bernice Richardson Horton
April 17th, 1935 - May 3rd, 2024
Bernice Richardson Horton, 89, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at Levine and Dickenson Hospice of Huntersville. Visitation will occur at Tribute & Tallent Funeral Services on May 10th, 2024, from 11 AM-12 PM. The service will directly follow from 12 PM-1 PM. The funeral procession will then make its way to Oaklawn Cemetery, 1615 Oaklawn Ave, Charlotte, NC 28216 for the burial. Left to cherish her memories are her three children: Wonderlyn Horton, Delphia Horton, and Bryan (Peggy) Horton as well as six grandchildren; Larail Horton, Tracy Craig, Talia Brown, Terry Locklear, Brittany Locklear, and Craven Horton; in addition to two great-grandchildren; Sadarian Horton and Malakhi Craig. Being one of eleven siblings, Bernice also leaves behind her two surviving sisters, Parthenia Tarver (James) of Happy Valley, Oregon, and Elaine Richardson-Ewing of Charlotte, NC in addition to a great host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
