Bert Raymond Glendening

January 10th, 1928 - February 8th, 2013

Mr. Bert R. Glendening jr. was born in San Francisco, CA and passed at Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin, OR. He served in the United States Armed Service in the 5th Reconnaissance Squadron Very Long range Photographic division. He married Jeannie (Erickson) of Lynden, WA in 1960 and they lived happily together in SW Portland. He had a great career at PGE where he worked for 30 years as a material man and head material man as well as head of salvage trucking for 2 years and then retired as a material repairman in 1988. Bert is survived by his nephews; John, Richard, Roger, Patrick and Jim, nieces; Marceda, Terri, Gibbie and several great nephews and nieces. A graveside services will be held at Crescent Grove Cemetery at 3:30 PM on Friday, Feb 15th, 2013.
