" Palmer, Bertha I. (Gardner) Lynn, 92, died October 19, 2002 in Wing Memorial Hospital. Born in Spencer, MA, Feb. 1, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Ida (Berthiaume) Gardner. She has been a resident of Palmer for the past 74 years. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Lynn in 1997. Bertha is survived by 6 children; Mildred Gouvin & Lorraine Laviolette of Wilbraham, June McCollom of Bondsville, Theresa Lacoste of S. Hadley, Barbara Lynn of Palmer and Eugene Lynn, Jr. of Three Rivers. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 11 great -great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by 2 grandchildren. Funeral services are private and burial is at the convenience of the family. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Donation’s may be made in Bertha’s memory to Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104. "
