Betavee Anderson Hand
February 11th, 1949 - October 29th, 2016
Betavee Anderson Hand entered into eternal peace on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the age of 75. "Betty" as she was lovingly known, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born to Hans Peter Anderson and Mamie Huskey, in Yuba City, CA., on February 11, 1941. She spent her childhood in Yuba City, graduating from Yuba City High School in 1958. After High School she traveled and called many cities home before she met her husband Frank Hand and settled in San Jose. She spent 25 years in San Jose raising her family before moving back to Yuba City. Her life centered on her love for her children, her family, her church and her friends. She thoroughly enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting. Betty will be remembered for her loving kindness to everyone she met. She is survived by her children Eric (Tina) Hand, Jackie (Jim) Childers, and Christina (Chris) King, grandchildren Kaylyn, Olivia, Ashley, Jimmy, and Alex, and her brother Jack Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Hand. Rosary will be held at 5pm Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, CA.
