Betty Jean Allen
March 16th, 1933 - June 11th, 2019
Betty Jean Allen, 86, went to join her beloved husband “Roy” Allen in heaven on June 11, 2019 in King Hill, Idaho surrounded by their children and grandchildren. Jean was born in Houston, Idaho on March 16, 1933. After graduating high school, Jean went on to Nurses Training and began a successful and compassionate career as a Registered Nurse. In 1955, Jean met and married “Roy” the love of her life and became an instant mother to his three children, Barbara 5, Joyce 4 and Johnny 3 years old. 1958 Jean and Roy added a daughter, Lori and in 1966 a son Jim to their family. Jean is survived by her son Johnny (Lucile) Allen King Hill ID, daughter Lori (Bob) Simmons Nampa, ID, son Jim (Elizabeth) Allen Jerome ID, brother Harvey (Doris) Doner Golden Hills, CA, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean was a very special woman who will be missed by all. The Family of Betty Jean Allen invites her many friends to attend a Celebration of Life and Pot Luck at the Three Island State Park on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 1 PM

Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
