Betty Jeane Balmer
May 16th, 1938 - December 14th, 2016
Betty Jeane Balmer 78, of Pierce, CO passed away December 14, 2016 in North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO Betty was born May 16, 1938 in Allerton, IA to M. H. and Frane (Jones) Wilson. She graduated from Allerton High School in 1956 and shortly there after moved to Colorado. On October 27, 1961 she married Darrell G. Balmer in Greeley. She worked at Winona’s Sub Shop and at Sam’s Club in Loveland, CO. Betty enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling, shopping, word searches and watching game shows. She had a heart of gold. Betty is survived by her children Brad (Rita) Balmer of Eaton, CO and Valinda (Tim) Moeller of Spencer, IA, her grandchildren Levi (Kaelah) Balmer, Seth Moeller, RaShae Moeller and Angelia Balmer and great grandchildren Jaxon and Arya Balmer. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Darrell Balmer, sisters Donna Keaton, Anna Belle McDonald and brother Edwin Wilson. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 19, 2016 at Adamson Chapel with viewing one hour prior.
