Betty Mae Bierman

Betty was born in Ulen, Minnesota to Clara and Eldred Mellum and lived in Tacoma, WA most of her life, where she met Chuck her husband for 64 years. Raising a family soon became the focus of their lives. Betty was known and loved by many for her fun-loving spirit, great sense of humor and generosity to others. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jo. She is survived by her husband Chuck and children: Linda, Jim (Jeni) and Donna (Don), 11 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Also siblings Lorrayne (Joe), Erling (Nancy) and Barbara (Fred) and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St Charles on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at 9am. Donations can be made in her name to your favorite charity. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home.
