Betty Jean Dawson was born in Norfolk, Virginia on June 30, 1940 to the late George and Betty Duncan. Jeannie passed away peacefully November 27, 2018 surrounded in love by her family in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is survived by her husband Rodger Dawson, daughter Dianna Byers (husband Chris), grandchildren Morgan and Dawson Byers, and sister Kathleen Miller (husband Mike). She is predeceased by Bill Duncan, Buddy Duncan, Andrea Valle and John Miller. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
