Betty J. Dunn, 85, of Gloversville, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. She was born in Gloversville January 30, 1922 the daughter of the late Fay and Harriet Peck Ecker. Betty graduated from Gloversville High School. She married Edwin J. Dunn on October 5, 1940, enjoyed a lifetime together until his death in 2002. She worked as a glove maker for several years at Aris Gloves. Betty loved cooking and baking and entertaining for family and friends. Survivors include her cousins, Joan Harvey of Gloversville, Beverly Morrison of Ormond Beach, FL, Jon Harvey of Gloversville, Jim Harvey of Branford, CT, Melinda Sheyon of Scotia, NY and Judith Mizrahi of FL; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Lippert. There will be no calling hours. There will be a graveside service in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville May 30 at 2pm.
