Betty Sue Flannelly, 84, of Greeley, CO passed away on Saturday, June 21st. She was born Betty Sue Wilson on June 25, 1929 in Beloit, KS. After graduating from Kansas State University, she married Arthur William Flannelly on July 1, 1951. Betty Sue lived most of her younger life in Beloit and Manhattan, KS and moved to Colorado after her marriage. Her interests included her church, her college Pi Beta Phi sorority and the PEO club of Greeley. Survivors include her husband Arthur "Red"; two daughters, Nancy Ann Lee of Grand Junction, CO and Jane Annette Watson of Aurora, CO; and one grandson, Eric William Watson of Houston, TX. She was preceded by her parents, Helen Ruth and Ben Wilson of Beloit, KS, and her sister Dorothy Lou "Dot” of Houston, TX. Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3800 W 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Flowers will be accepted at the Church. Because she loved children, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Children’s Hospital Colorado in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO.
