A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Harrisburg Christian Church for Betty J. Haag of Eugene, who died Feb. 9 of age-related causes. She was 76.She was born Nov. 10, 1935, in Long Lane, Mo., to William and Bessie Osburne Franklin. She married Vernon Haag on Nov. 11, 1961, in Reno, Nev.She was a high school graduate. She worked as a meat wrapper.Survivors include a son, Todd of Harrisburg; two daughters, Theresa Athey of Eugene and Valerie Stutzman of Halsey; five brothers, Vernon Franklin of Peoria, Ill., Billy Franklin of Ark City, Kan., Wayne Franklin of Eugene, and John Franklin and Alman Franklin, both of Springfield; two sisters, MaryAnn Bruce of Noti and Gladys Crabtree of Junction City; and seven grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
