Warner Robins, GA- Betty Jane Herndon passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2013, in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2013, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Herndon was born July 5, 1926, in Milford, IA, to the late Kenneth and Mae Katherine Walters. Mrs. Herndon was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. Herndon was preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Herndon. Survivors include- Children, Crystal J. (Pete) Flanders of Byron, GA, James R. (Rusty) Herndon of Pensacola, FL, Melody M. (Alan) Stuckey of Warner Robins, GA, Karen Wagy of Macon, GA; five grandchildren Tia Whalen, Christopher Herndon, Ashley Haynes, Nichole Herndon, Taylor Stuckey; and five great grandchildren Kaleigh and Savannah Whalen, Kaelan, Kameron, and Karter Pike. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
