Betty Miehl Loeser

Betty Miehl Loeser, 88, passed away peacefully on July 23rd. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, she spent the majority of her young life there raising her family. Betty worked alongside her husband, Julius, in the family run business, United Auto Parts for many years. Betty and Julius retired in Sarasota, FL in the late 80's. Betty was a member of Temple Beth Sholom and Keneseth Israel Congregations and was a life member of Hadassah. Betty was preceded in passing by her daughter, Terry Mitzman, her parents, Pearl and Max Miehl, and her brother, Dr. Morris Miehl. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Julius, daughter, Frances Balf (Steve), son-in-law, Mark Mitzman, grandchildren, Jennifer Roschichan (Brian), Melanie Morales (Scott), Becca Hartmeier (Matt), and four great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Chris Hall and her caregiving team for their care and compassion. Donations in Betty's memory can be made to the Sarasota Jewish Family and Childrens Services or the donor's charity of choice. Services were held on Wednesday, July 27th at Sarasota National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
