Mom loved her booze, the beach and all kinds of Doo-Wop music. She lived a colorful life and splashed her outlook all over. She brought together many couples, friends and people in her 50 plus years of her business, The Brides House of Originals. She graduated from Central High School right here in Charlotte. She went to an all-girls college in Arkansas where she mastered in fashion. She was inducted into the Shaggers Hall of Fame in 1994. If you were a friend of hers, it was for life, and she also never met a stranger. Her life was about spreading happiness, good times and a positive attitude. The value of her life was about quality over quantity. She did not have a mean bone in her body but had a happy easy-going heart and a humorous mind. She was an icon in the neighborhood of Plaza Midwood. She was 87 years young when she passed. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten. She is survived by her sons Marc and Marty.
