Betty Nola Pinegar
April 30th, 1938 - June 5th, 2019
Betty Nola Pinegar, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Boise, Idaho surrounded by her loving daughters and son-in-law. Betty was born on April 30, 1938, to Fred and Martha Slob in Marion, Ohio. She graduated from Pleasant School in 1956 where she was loved and adored. Betty married on May 3, 1959, and had 3 children...John Robert Jr., Renee, and Yvonne. They moved to Memphis Tennessee in 1968 and made it their home. Betty was active in her daughter's lives. She was PTA President at their elementary school, room mother and Girl Scout leader for several years. Betty was a faithful member of Abundant Grace Ministries where she had a deep love for the Lord. She enjoyed her friends, international travel, music festivals, dancing, and her grandchildren. Her daughters survive Betty Yvonne Kimball of Meridian, Idaho, Renee (Kirk) Sisk of Falkner MS, three grandchildren, Albritton (Ross) Sheffield, Jon Kimball, and Stephen (Ashley) Fordyce, her 3 great grandsons, Brooks Joseph, Rhett Jacob and Nolan James. She was proceeded in death by her infant son John Robert Jr., her mother and father, her brother, Fredrick Leonard Jr., and her sister, Jerry Lee Acree, and many relatives and life-long friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (StJude.org) in Memphis Tn. A Celebration of Life will be held in Memphis at a later date.
