Betty Jean Sexton 5/28/1929 to 6/19/2015 Betty was born in Hammond, Indiana to William and Thelma Peace. She died of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Walter and eleven siblings, including her twin brother Jack. Survivors include daughter Kathy Boles (Allen) of Boise Idaho, son Glenn Sexton (Joanne) of Tigard and daughter Debbie Powell (Dave) of Junction City, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sandra Hutton of Eastvale, CA and Judy Elwood of Great Falls, MT. Betty worked many years in accounting and administrative jobs. In 1974 Betty went into real estate sales being one of the few women in a male dominated field. She made the million dollar realtor club her first year in sales and continued to do so. Betty’s greatest passion was her relationship with her Savior Jesus Christ. She would often tell people, “The King is coming”. There will be a service to celebrate her life at 3 o’clock on Friday, June 26th at Living Hope Church 2801 West 18th Ave. Interment will be private at Fir Lawn Cemetery in Hillsboro.
