Betty "Todd" Marie Smith
March 16th, 1932 - January 7th, 2016
Betty Marie Todd Smith, 83, went home to be with the Lord January 7, 2016. Graveside Services celebrating her life will be held Monday January 11, 2016 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will visit with friends from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Sunday afternoon at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. A native of Guilford County, Marie was the daughter of the late Mary Bell Lyman and Bennie Clyde Todd. She had worked in textiles for a number of years including the former Adams-Millis plant in Kernersville. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by first husband Leroy Smith, later her last husband Leroy Smith, sons Mark Smith and Bobby Lee Taylor, Jr., brothers Elmer Todd and Jerry Todd. Survivors include her son Kenny Taylor and Annette of Whitsett; sisters Winnie and Jeanette; brother Billy Todd; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
