Beverly Marie Anuszkiewicz
October 28th, 1939 - October 24th, 2019
Obituary Beverly Marie Anuszkiewicz, passed away quietly at her home on October 24, 2019, surrounded by her family, just 4 days short of her 80th Birthday. She was born October 28, 1939 to Carlene Seconder and Rudy Kern. She spent most of her childhood years between Gilford and the Bay City area. Quick-witted, strong, giving, funny, and selfless are words to describe Bev. She loved spending time with her friends and family. Family traditions and holidays were also very important to her. She was known by many for her amazing cutout cookies, and her stuffed cabbages. She was always up for an adventure. The family remembers asking her what she wanted for her 64th birthday; her answer was, White water rafting!. Yup, we took her white water rafting. We also remember that Bev enjoyed bowling and going to Caseville. Others knew her as Grandma Bev, MiMi, Bay City Bev, and a great friend, but to us kids, she was Mom: our hero; our cheerleader; our mentor. A secret obsession of hers was collecting menus. Not take out menus, but the restaurants menu (she has collected over 50 of them!). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 3:30pm in Colorado, please join us at Desiree and Robbies home in Longmont for refreshments. A separate Celebration of Life will be held on November 24, 2019, in Michigan at the Akron Village Hall, 4380 Beach, Akron, Michigan, 48701. Please come celebrate Bevs life and memory with us. We will have an open house memorial from 1 pm-4 pm. Mom, you were our rock, our anchor and our true north. Be carefree now.
