Beverly M. Billington

Beverly M. Billington , 84 , of Amsterdam, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2015 at Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility Amsterdam , New York . She was born on June 18, 1931 in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Catherine Menge Reuss . Beverly is a life time resident of the area and a graduate of the Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She worked in Amsterdam for several companies as a Seamstress, lastly at Saratoga Horse Works. she enjoyed Spending time with her family and hosting different gatherings at her home. She also later in life enjoyed attending the E.L. Wilkinson Adult day center. Beverly also enjoyed a good garage sale find and her feline companion, Callie. Beverly is survived by sons, Paul Billington of Amsterdam and William F. Billington of CT, a son in law Rick Carabello, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband William G. Billington, a son Gary Billington, a brother Kenneth Reuss and a sister Sandy Edwards. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, on November 2, 2015 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12:00PM with Michael Delaney officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery following services. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the E.L. Wilkinson RHCF.
