Beverly Jean Erickson

May 21st, 1934 - August 3rd, 2024

Beverly J. Erickson (Fossen), 90, of Grand Rapids, died Saturday, August 3, 2024 at River Grand Assisted Living in Grand Rapids, MN.

She was born May 21, 1934 in Well County, N.D to Johnnie and Gladys Fossen. She married Lloyd Erickson in Oberon, N.D. in 1955 and then moved to Aurora, MN where they resided until Lloyd's retirement in 1992. After retirement, they traveled the western US until they decided to settle in Rapid City, SD and stayed there until Lloyd's death in 1997. Bev then moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family. Her hobbies included golf, visiting casinos, card playing and bowling, even winning a MN State Bowling Tournament.

She is survived by two sons Stephen (Patti) Erickson of Grand Rapids, MN and Mark (Helyn) Erickson of Hudson, WI; Daughter, Vikki (Jon) Smith of West Olive, MI; Brother, Duane (Cindy) Fossen of Keswick, Ontario; seven Grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister (Evelyn Conors) and brother (Gerald Fossen).

A committal ceremony will be held at the Black Hills National Cemetery on September 9th @ 11:30am.
