Beverly E. Petoff

Mrs. Beverly E. Frederick Petoff, age 76, of Broadalbin, died peacefully Monday morning, March 20, 2006 at home, with her family at her side. She was born August 4, 1929 in St. Johnsville, the daughter of the late Everett and Elsie Smith Frederick. She was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, and worked prior to her marriage at the Port of Albany. She was later employed at the Supreme Market in Broadalbin, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Broadalbin. Mrs. Petoff?s happiest times were the many hours she spent with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Roger Petoff; eight children, Ronald Petoff of Rockport, MA, Linda Petoff of Corinth, VT, Brian Petoff and his wife Ingrid of Broadalbin, Eric Petoff and his wife Joy of Hinesville, GA, Julie Faville and her husband Scott of Gloversville, Gregg Petoff of Broadalbin, Steven Petoff and his wife Mary of Mayfield, and Suzanne Petoff of Mayfield; 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, her stepmother, Ruth Frederick of Gloversville, several nieces, nephews, cousins and an uncle. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Ocquin and Shirley Fletcher. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St., Broadalbin. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, Broadalbin, with the Rev. Linda Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Broadalbin Mayfield Rural Cemetery, Broadalbin.
