Beverly Jean Pugh

A Memorial Service for Beverly Jean Pugh, 72, of Chico, CA, will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Affordable Mortuary, 2934 Esplanade in Chico. On Monday, December 19, 2011, Beverly left the loving arms of her family to be with our Father in Heaven. Beverly was born in Mt. View, MO on March 11, 1939, bringing a bright ray of sunshine to her parents, Willis and Ina Charles. Bev was a senior at Chico High School, when she met Chuck in December of 1956 at a dance in Glenn County, love at first sight or pity for a lonely looking guy? They married in May of 1957 after Bev's graduation. The flame of love still burns bright after fifty-four years. She lived a full and spirited life, always being a shining example to her family and friends. Beverly loved to keep active, whether gardening, decorating her home, or bowling with her friends; bowling was the other love of her life. She also worked at the office as co-owner with her husband of Air-Art Heating and Air Conditioning; she loved talking to the customers. Beverly's beloved family include her husband, Charles Pugh of Chico; their three sons, Charles (Valerie) Pugh Jr. of Chico, Nicholas Pugh of Auburn and Victor (Jamie) Pugh of Magalia; grandchildren, Kyle and Bryan Pugh of Chico, Nicole Pugh of Auburn, Chantel Doppelmayr of Rockland, Kelly, Brook and Brandy Pugh of Magalia; and her sister, whom she loved dearly, Vivivan (Greg) Dockendorf of Chico.
