Beverly Ann Schmidt
December 28th, 1938 - January 30th, 2023
Beverly Ann Schmidt, 84, of Mountain Home passed away at home on Monday, January 30, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held February 5, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Beverly was born December 28, 1938, in Central Park, Montana to Joshua and Clara Lightfoot. She attended school in Bozeman and later settled in Idaho in 1964. Beverly was in the food and beverage industry for many years. She was a good mother who loved her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, knitting and crocheting. She loved being in the Red Hat Society. Beverly loved her furry friends Lucky and Lily and her sweet Clifford, who preceded her in death. Beverly is survived by her four children Debbra Guthrie (Rob), Sherri Poldervart (Steve), Lisa Woodruff (Robert), John Fredericksen; grandchildren Marah Wasson, Chance James, Kylee James, Mike Peterson, Nichole Peterson, Matthew Fredericksen, Donovan Fredericksen, Trevor Woodruff, Quinton Fredericksen; her 22 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her husband David Schmidt; both parents, brother Francis Crosby, sister Jeanette “Lee” Lingle, step-brothers Bill, Gordon, and Avery Lightfoot, and great-granddaughter Heather Fredericksen. Our funeral home opened in 2005 when Jerry and Janette Rost purchased the business. We’ve continued to grow along with Mountain Home. Jerry’s career began more than fifty years ago in Boise, and along the way, he acquired an 1897 horse-drawn funeral carriage, which we proudly display in our facility....
