Beverly Jean Sullivan of Chandler, AZ passed away on June 12, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. She was 77 years old. Beverly was born on September 18, 1934 in Yakima, Washington to Albert and Zella Layton. Beverly is survived by a son, Steve (Jan) Sullivan, two daughters, Linda (Terry) Meek and Sandra (Calvin) Janney, four sisters, Maxine (Jim) Nace, Janice (Alan) Davidson, Connie Davis, and Pauline (Frank) Coy, and six grandchildren, Christina, Christopher, Donna, Steve, Paul, and Beverly. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 16, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert, AZ. Beverly was an Air Force wife for more than 20 years and became an expert in setting up households in foreign countries on short notice. In England, Japan, the Philippine Islands, Canada, and several US states, she always provided a nice, comfortable home for her husband and family of six. A devoted home decorator, gardener, and avid reader, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and always gave of herself unselfishly to make others happy. God will find a good friend in her.
