Bill Edward Oliver (Still Bill) passed away on April 11, 2014 in Sacramento. Bill was born to Joe and Emma Oliver in Berkely, CA on August 2, 1947. He was a resident of yuba City, CA for 45 years. Twenty two years ago he married his first time sweetheart Elnora Cumbuss. They resided in Sacramento. He attended schools in Yuba City, CA where he was an avid student. He received numerous awards at Yuba City High School for high athletic abilities. Bill graduated from Cal State Hayward where he played football side by side with his brother Bernie. They were known as the Dynamic Duo. Bill is survived by his daughter, Laural Oliver and grandson, Gianni Oliver of San Diego; sisters, Pallie Jackson, Thelma Oliver, Teresa Daniels, Kit Samuel and Deanna Oliver; brothers, Eugene Oliver, Bernard Oliver and Arrelius Oliver; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Elnora Cumbuss Oliver; parents, Joe and Emma Oliver; sister, Joeva Green; brothers, James, Melvin, Andrew Oliver and Connie Oliver. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel with Rev. Freda Cash officiating. Inurnment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel
