Bill Rankin age 82 of Cottage Grove, OR. died on October 1, 2013. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 23, 1931 to Wilbur & Helen (Fitzmier) Rankin.Bill worked as a Real Estate agent, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.He married Patricia Rankin and they were married for 41 years. He enjoyed photography, wood working, and spent time camping and fishing as a young boy. He was an active member of the Lion's Club in Eugene, Catalina Island, & Morro Bay.He is survived by his wife, six daughters, a brother, Ron Rankin of Sausalito, CA, 12 grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.A Private memorial service will be held at a later date on Catalina Island, CA.Memorial contributions can be made to SAIL Housing, 3057 Willakenzie Rd.
